Neddie Puppies

My friend Stephanie's dog Diamond delivered 3 puppies, born Wednesday December 17th. They are sired by Neddie (HiLeigh Ready R'Not Here I Come) ... She has 2 boys, a sable with white blaze and socks, and a cream spotted boy, and 1 girl a red sable spotted on white. Very cute and healthy puppies with a nice assortment of flasy markings.... Can't wait to watch them grow up!

Ins and Outs

Angel leaves this Tuesday for Edmonton, and this girl is coming back to me from Karin. Her name is Kailey. Her mom is a nice Mina's bred girl named Chanel and her father is the same Amore that sired my pups.

Kailey was born Sept 25th so she a couple days older than Angel and her siblings. I will post more pictures of Glory, Sunny and Kailey next week ....

Videos

I have posted more videos of the puppies. These are at 7 weeks.

Here are the girls running around and then jumping on mommy to save their little brother:

Here are the girls again. The lighter sandy longcoat is Angel, the redder one (the itchy one) is Glory and the shortcoat is Sunny:

And at 7.5 weeks. I am trying to get a longer video of Angel for Karin. However this shows her for a bit. Butter had to have her face in there right at the beginning. Sunny has a little twist at the end of his tail he was born with, but it straightens after being taped. So you can see I have taped the end of his tail.

Butter Puppies

Here are Butter's puppies at 7 weeks old. Neddie is their 1/2 brother, by the way. I have to get a decent picture of Ned to post, but he always squints at the camera!

The first longcoat girl is Glory. She is my favourite in the litter and a very pretty pup. She is also very outgoing and confident for her age, which is really nice. A real face-licker! She is 26.0 oz at 7 weeks and now the smallest (not by much) in the litter. She is staying with me and I am going to grow her out and hopefully start showing her in the spring.

The other girl in the litter is Angel. She is a sweet puppy, very cute and fuzzy. Angel carries herself really nicely, and all 3 pups have her nice short back (thanks dad!) She now weighs 27.5 oz. Angel is hoping to go and live with her daddy and Karin in Edmonton.

...............................................................................

Sunny is the girls' Short Coat brother. I think he is a real doll, and has that "Fandango" look from his mom. I really wanted a boy out of Amore, and this one is almost exactly what I wanted. Sunny is staying with us, and hopefully big brother Neddie will finish his Championship next year and Sunny can come out and play next summer. Sunny weighs 27.0 oz at 7 weeks.

What's Happening

We are gearing up for winter, and settling in. It's dark... we drive out to the shop on the dark and drive home in the dark, and I am indoors all day, so it's getting kind of gloomy.

I don't expect to enter any more shows with Neddie until January. I hope that I can get to the Ladies Kennel Club show in Cloverdale late in January.

Butter and her puppies are doing well. They are all getting rather fat, since my husband has taken up cooking for the puppies and what they don't eat he gives to their mother. What a guy! Don't tell but I think he likes puppies.... haha

I have to watch it though as a caught him tonight feeding them processed Velveeta Cheese slices. I'm pretty sure those aren't recommended for 6 week old puppies!

Bella is in season right now, but we are skipping this cycle. Therefore she, and Phoebe for company, are living in the upstairs bathroom. They are good girls about it, and stay quiet. Neddie is fine as long as he does not remember she's up there. Poor guy, he's 14 months old, and full of teenage boy hormones. He sure gets worked up smelling wherever she's been! It is good we have no shows coming up as he refuses to eat much and has lost a fair amount of weight worrying about how girls smell. He's a skinny little weiner dog right now!

New Blog

I've decided to join the masses and start a blog. I hope to post casual comments and news updates here for friends and, well, anyone who wants to read.
