We are gearing up for winter, and settling in. It's dark... we drive out to the shop on the dark and drive home in the dark, and I am indoors all day, so it's getting kind of gloomy.
I don't expect to enter any more shows with Neddie until January. I hope that I can get to the Ladies Kennel Club show in Cloverdale late in January.
Butter and her puppies are doing well. They are all getting rather fat, since my husband has taken up cooking for the puppies and what they don't eat he gives to their mother. What a guy! Don't tell but I think he likes puppies.... haha
I have to watch it though as a caught him tonight feeding them processed Velveeta Cheese slices. I'm pretty sure those aren't recommended for 6 week old puppies!
Bella is in season right now, but we are skipping this cycle. Therefore she, and Phoebe for company, are living in the upstairs bathroom. They are good girls about it, and stay quiet. Neddie is fine as long as he does not remember she's up there. Poor guy, he's 14 months old, and full of teenage boy hormones. He sure gets worked up smelling wherever she's been! It is good we have no shows coming up as he refuses to eat much and has lost a fair amount of weight worrying about how girls smell. He's a skinny little weiner dog right now!

This is a fantastic idea for your "children" and they are so very cute and well behaved. Neddie has finally accepted me at the office, greats me in the morning with a wagging tail, his front paws on my leg and then of course the little dance on his hind legs, so very cute.
Neddie's brother,Conner, is doing well as a pet. He's a bruiser, 6.8 lbs. He is the best company & my 86 year old mom lovers him dearly. He has no idea about girl dogs, and is eating well. Most definitely the Rhodes Scholar of all my dogs. We hope to stop by and say "Hi" before the end of the year.
